We design callodesk.com to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Every sample call has a text transcript, the site works with a keyboard and screen readers, and you can always reach a person by phone or email if anything gets in your way.

1Our commitment
Callodesk wants every business owner and every caller to be able to use our website and our service, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is part of how we design, write and test — not an afterthought.
2Standards we follow
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with visual, hearing, motor, speech and cognitive disabilities.
3What we’ve done on this website
- Color and contrast: text meets at least a 4.5:1 contrast ratio; status is never shown by color alone.
- Keyboard access: every link, button, menu, tab, slider and form works with a keyboard, with a clearly visible focus outline, and a “Skip to content” link at the top of each page.
- Screen readers: semantic headings and landmarks, labeled form fields, descriptive link text and ARIA attributes on menus, tabs and toggles.
- Audio: every sample call has a full text transcript, and audio never plays automatically.
- Touch: tap targets are at least 44 × 44 pixels, and the layout adapts to phones and zoom up to 200% without loss of content.
- Motion: animations are short and are turned off when your device has “reduce motion” enabled.
- Forms: errors are explained in text, next to the field, with instructions to fix them.
4Accessibility of the phone service
- The assistant speaks clearly, can repeat or slow down on request, and confirms key details back to callers.
- Callers can ask for a person at any time, and businesses can route calls from anyone who prefers not to use the assistant.
- Booking confirmations are sent by text so callers have a written record.
- Callers who are deaf, hard of hearing or have a speech disability can reach businesses through relay services such as 711; relay calls can be transferred to staff.
5Known limitations
Some content may not yet fully meet our goals, including placeholder images and third-party embeds such as booking calendars, which we are working with providers to improve. We review the site regularly using automated tools, manual keyboard and screen-reader testing (VoiceOver, NVDA) and feedback from users. [AUDIT DATE – VERIFY]
